…..so, a couple of days ago, my Dad (otherwise known as Geoff to some of you) went across to Liverpool to check out the penguins. No, Liverpool hasn’t moved any closer to the Antarctic, but the Penguins have come to them instead! I have to say, they’re very cool (pardon the pun) and Dad’s captured them just great – thanks Dad! I’ve also added a couple of extras that Dad took of Liverpool in general – it was the European City of Culture last year, and they really did do a great job on re-developing it! Enjoy the pics…..
PS Lesley and Steve’s Liverpool city pad is just by the John Lewis building – not a bad spot hey?! Mum and Dad are loving it 
The penguins are everywhere and they are sooo cute. Apparently there’s a penguin up by the Univeristy wearing a cap and gown
Lesley and Steve’s flat is to the left of the pink banner which is in between the apartment buildings in pic.2.
The statue to the forefront of pic.1. is Billy Fury and you can see the wheel between the apartment building and the Hilton Hotel.
Apparently it is there until the end of January. From the top it will have views right over the Mersey to the Wirral as well as inner Liverpool, so will be worth a trip!
