As most of you know, Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the beginning of this year. Unforunately, as it had spread, chemo and radiotherapy were not an option.  However, Dad was able to take just one tablet a day and that should keep any further growth at bay.  Well, today Dad had his first check up. Not only had the cancer not spread any further, but it had actually decreased – not a lot, but it HAD decreased – and for me, that’s certainly moving in the right direction!  As you can imagine, the Dicko’s and all its hangers on are a very happy bunch tonight – and I reckon when we call get to Australia there might be call for a glass of champagne to celebrate….

Just perhaps,  it has something to do with all those cancer cells that Lesley crushed riding from London to Paris!  Oh, and perhaps also something to do with Dad’s fight and very positive pragmatic attitude…..!
